My favorite brand is Nathan's Famous. Nathan's hosts the annual hot dog eating contest every year on Coney Island. Their hot dogs taste somewhat like a sausage, but with a hot dog texture. And they pop when you bite into them! They really are amazing. Sadly, most people don't know that you can buy them at local supermarkets (I've seen them at Wal-Mart and Smith's). Nathan's is huge back east and they've decided to share with us western folk. So if you've never had a Nathan's Famous hot dog before, go to the store right now and get yourself a pack (I recommend the long skinny ones shown above). Then go home, grill it up on the George Foreman, and let me know what you think.

I saw the Hot Dog Eating contest. It was really quite gross. I must agree that Nathan's hot dogs are really good.
I havenever had these before, well I just got back into eating hot dogs, but I want to try these. Good to know they can be found most anywhere. Me wanting to try a new hot dog? This will make Ross' day ')
Did you know Sam's Club in Layton serves large Nathan's dogs in their deli? You know it's a good dog when you can still taste it hours later.
Oh, and can you change your comment settings so don't have to use my Google name? Pretty please . . . with a hot dog on top.
Sorry about that Ryan. All fixed.
So we ate them last night and they WERE yummy - so no worries ;) Ross even said he liked their 'flavor'. Which is big for him. He wishes they made hot dogs that didn't have flavoring in them so that he could flavor them himself. His point is we don't buy flavored chicken or ground beef (although some places sell them) so why not sell unflavored hot dogs. Think about it.
